Frost & Sullivan Recognises 28 companies Across 4 Industries at the 10th Australia Excellence Awards
SYDNEY, Dec 3, 2015 – Frost & Sullivan honoured 28 companies across 4 industries at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Australia Excellence Awards banquet, held today at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney.
This year is particularly special as it marks the 10th year that Frost & Sullivan is hosting the excellence awards in Australia recognising and celebrating exemplary practices and best-in-class companies in the country.
Mark Dougan, Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand, Frost & Sullivan said, “Frost & Sullivan believes it is important to highlight industry best practices and acknowledge those who have accomplished noteworthy achievements.
Our awards endeavour to identify and spotlight companies that have delivered excellence in their respective industries, as well as spur companies to continue pushing boundaries and share best practices.”
Dougan pointed out that a demonstration of this is Telstra, who not only is received 4 awards this year, but has been deserving of several awards, every year over the decade, right from the first year in 2006. “
This is certainly not only a distinction of excellence but also of consistency and improvement of best practices,” he added.
Telstra is not the only company to have received several Frost & Sullivan awards over the years; Airwatch, Amazon, ISS, Stellar, Verint and Verizon are all repeat recipients as well.
This year, Telstra received awards for Unified Communications Service Provider of the Year, Hosted Contact Centre Service Provider of the Year, Telecom Service Provider of the Year and Healthcare Telecommunications Company of the Year.
Other 2015 award recipients included Canberra Data Centres, Palo Alto Networks, Philips, Samsung, Schneider Electric and Serraview.
“This is a great way to end the year with such sweet achievements for Australian firms, and Frost & Sullivan congratulates all the 2015 Australian award recipients,” he added.
Recipients of the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Australia Excellence Awards were identified based on in-depth research conducted by Frost & Sullivan’s analysts.
The award categories offered each year are carefully reviewed and evaluated to reflect the current market landscape and include new emerging trends.
The short-listed companies were evaluated on a variety of actual market performance indicators which include revenue growth; market share and growth in market share; leadership in product innovation; marketing strategy and business development strategy.
