How Leaders can improve relationship skills at work

The challenge of building and maintaining high quality, meaningful and productive relationships at work is one we all face every day.

Too often we choose to use hierarchy and title to determine the types of relationships we build with peers, managers, colleagues and direct reports.

This prevents us from using the natural human interaction skills we’ve developed through our personal lives to be able to find friends and for many, a partner.

In our free Building Successful Relationships at Work introductory workshop, we focus on 2 simple concepts for leaders

1. How to build rapport.

2. How to establish people’s trust.

The workshop is suitable for emerging and existing leaders who want to have better relationships at work.

We introduce some highly practical and simple tips that you can use immediately to build stronger relationships with those you work with.

We give you an easy 4 step process to building rapport with those around you.

We share with you the secret formula to understanding trust, what makes it grow and how it can be broken.

The benefit of an individual or team building and maintaining these stronger relationships include; higher productivity from both you and those you work with, lower stress, more enjoyment of work and long term connections you will be able to leverage later on in your career.

You may even find yourself a friend or two along the way!

At the end of this hour, you will walk away with a few tools you can apply and practice to increase your ability to build rapport with your team and learn how to build honest, productive and trusted relationships with colleagues.

This introductory workshop shares with you the initial two concepts in our 6 workshop High-Performance Leadership Fundamentals program which is run in conjunction with CX Skills.

Our full program takes you from building relationships, through effective communication, motivation, managing and leading through Change, Meeting tips and how to find and hold a  mindset.

This program is valuable for leaders at all seniority and experience but also for those looking to create a great working environment lead through their interactions with others.
