Out of office but not out of work (11am Session)
Our surroundings might have changed, but what we measure and who we lead hasn’t.
Sure, they can’t see you and you can’t see them except when you’re joining each other in Teams or Zoom. With the elements of distance and less to physically see, we need to navigate how to effectively monitor and manage our metrics – that is our people’s performance, behaviour and KPI results. Along with this, we need to revisit how we set exceptions of our office-based and remote team members and how we follow up on these expectations, and what conversations we have regarding them.
It’s essential to setting your teams up for success whether they are office or home-based with what’s expected, and to be clear with what this translates into, to help them understand. Remember, they cannot see if their neighbour has just gone for a break, unless they look for it in a system.
We will share with you:
- Dashboards & performance – what to watch, when and how
- Adherence & Occupancy – what to look for and what conversations to have
