Resilience Infusion Series (6 week program)

Resilience isn’t something we’re born with; we build it from a young age as we experience and overcome challenging and undesirable situations. Throughout life, we continue to experience adversity and it is our level of resilience that determines how quickly we bounce back and persist through discomfort. The problem is many of us don’t think about ‘building’ resilience until we’re already feeling the pressure and need to tap into it.

So Shelley Flett has taken on the challenge of designing a program that will not only build resilience but gives you some quick and effective strategies to keep your cup topped up now and into the future.

By taking part in the Personal Resilience Infusion Series you will begin to shift your focus and improve your ability to bounce back from adversity. You will learn to effectively deal with challenges by adopting and living the five core components of being resilient.

The program is broken into six 90-minute virtual infusions (sessions), using Zoom. Each infusion commences with a check-in and concludes with a reflection and focus along with covering one of the six topics outlined below.

  • 1 July, 11:30am to 1:00pm – Position
  • 8 July, 11:30am to 1:00pm – Preparedness
  • 15 July, 11:30am to 1:00pm – Perspective
  • 23 July, 11:30am to 1:00pm – Presence
  • 30 July, 11:30am to 1:00pm – Persistence
  • 6 August, 11:30am to 1:00pm – People


Price: $280 for Auscontact members, $360 for non members

Your facilitator

Shelley Flett is an expert in leadership development and team performance. She has successfully operated her consulting practice since 2015 after more than 13 years working as a leader herself in various roles across customer service and operations.

Shelley is passionate about maximising efficiency and building high-performance team cultures in organisations of any size.

Her work gives her exposure and experience to businesses across a wide variety of industries including banking, telecommunications, government, local council, critical infrastructure, engineering, hair & beauty, trades, insurance, marketing, travel and retail.

She has authored two books: The Direction Dilemma – why knowing what you want makes you a better leader; and, The Dynamic Leader – become the leader others are inspired to follow. What Shelley has experienced is that it doesn’t matter what industry or organisation you work in, the challenges faced by leaders are fundamentally the same.
